888 board changes

888, the iGaming behemoth and one of the biggest providers of gambling services on the planet, made some major drastic changes in its board. Let’s have a look at all of the updates that 888 decided to make.

On September 30, 2023, Andria Vidler and Yariv Dafna will step down from the Board, following announcements made on July 19, 2023, and September 13, 2023, respectively.

After Dafna’s departure, Sean Wilkins will assume the role of 888’s Chief Financial Officer in February 2024, while Vidler will take on the position of the new UK CEO at Allwyn. Lord Jon Mendelsohn will also join the Nominations Committee on October 16th, 2023, upon resuming his role as Non-Executive Chair.

The Audit Committee composition will consist of the following members: Mark Summerfield (Chair) as Independent Non-Executive Director, Andrea Gisle Joosen as Independent Non-Executive Director, and Limor Ganot as Independent Non-Executive Director.

The Remuneration Committee will include Andrea Gisle Joosen (Chair) as Independent Non-Executive Director, Limor Ganot as the Independent Non-Executive Director, and Anne de Kerckhove as Senior Independent Director.

The ESG Committee will be led by Anne de Kerckhove (Chair) as Senior Independent Director, Ori Shaked as Non-Executive Director, and Mark Summerfield as Independent Non-Executive Director.

The Nominations Committee, on the other hand, will consist of Anne de Kerckhove (Chair) as Senior Independent Director, Limor Ganot as Independent Non-Executive Director, and Ori Shaked as Non-Executive Director.

Finally, the last changes in the 888 board is that the Gaming Compliance Committee will be comprised of Michael Alonso as Chair, Ori Shaked as Non-Executive Director, and Mark Summerfield as Independent Non-Executive Director.

For a point of reference, it is good to mention that Michael Alonso is an external Nevada lawyer who is the Chair of the Gaming Compliance Committee, however, is not a member of the Board.
