Danish Gaming Operator Delivers Increased Top and Bottom Line Performance While Maintaining Full-Year Expectations
Danske Spil has released its financial statements for the first half of 2026, showcasing progress across both revenue and net profit. For the opening six months of the year, the group achieved a gross gaming income (GBI) of DKK 2,586 million—marking a DKK 39 million increase compared to the same period in 2025. Profit after tax rose to DKK 1,044 million, up DKK 46 million year-on-year, supported by higher revenues from licensed games and lower operational costs.
The company’s traditional lotteries maintained strong popularity, with Eurojackpot breaking sales records after drawing 358,000 tickets for a single draw in May during a maximum prize pool of DKK 750 million. Additionally, Det Store Påske Lotto achieved record holiday sales. Meanwhile, primary growth was spearheaded by Danske Licens Spil, driven by sustained online casino expansion and the successful rollout of a new poker platform amidst fierce international competition.

Looking ahead, Danske Spil has reaffirmed its full-year 2026 expectations, maintaining forecasts of a gross gaming margin between DKK 5.2 and 5.3 billion and an after-tax profit of DKK 1.95 to 2.05 billion. Alongside its commercial growth, the operator continues to emphasize targeted measures promoting healthy gambling habits and robust consumer protection standards.
