Global esports tournament organizer BLAST has officially signed a comprehensive one-year partnership with specialized hospitality provider MATCH to develop premium fan travel experiences and related commercial opportunities across BLAST global events throughout 2026 and 2027.

The crisp white collaborative logo branding of the new BLAST and MATCH esports hospitality alliance displayed on a glowing translucent blue stadium backdrop.
The partnership will leverage MATCH’s ticketing and accommodation infrastructure, targeting the growing global audience of traveling fans following BLAST’s 15 arena shows.

Corporate planners confirmed that collaborative operations will commence immediately, with an initial focus centered on the upcoming BLAST Premier Hong Kong Rivals event scheduled for this November.

MATCH is globally recognized for directing high-end hospitality and accommodation programs at the world’s most prominent sporting spectacles, including managing four consecutive FIFA World Cups from 2010 to 2022, alongside iconic Ryder Cup golf tournaments, Formula 1 Grands Prix, and elite ATP tennis tour events. Under the agreement, BLAST will leverage MATCH’s extensive technical and operational infrastructure, while integrating MATCH’s established B2B network of international corporate clients, sponsors, athletic federations, regional travel agents, and sports media partners to maximize international ticket sales and partner activation loops.

The commercial expansion follows a record-breaking 2025 live event cycle for BLAST, during which the tournament producer delivered 15 stadium arena shows across 10 countries spanning five independent competitive gaming titles, processing 194,421 ticket sales.

Elevating the Live Event Experience Across Global Destinations

James Woollard, Vice President of Destinations and Market Development at BLAST, expressed great enthusiasm regarding the integration of top-tier travel programs into the fast-growing competitive gaming sector:

“We’re thrilled to partner with MATCH, a company with an unrivalled track record in delivering top-tier fan travel experiences at the biggest sporting events in the world. As BLAST continues to grow globally and attract growing numbers of travelling fans, this partnership represents an exciting opportunity to further elevate the live event experience for fans and audiences across esports.”

Richard Parker, Director of UK Events and Business Strategy at MATCH, added that the alliance provides a significant opportunity to deploy their hospitality infrastructure within next-generation digital entertainment arenas:

“Esports is one of the most exciting growth frontiers in live entertainment, and BLAST stands out as a world-class platform with incredible potential. At MATCH, we see a tremendous opportunity to bring our expertise in creating premium fan experiences into the esports arena. We are very enthusiastic about the possibility of working together with BLAST to deliver innovative, unforgettable experiences for esports fans worldwide.”
