With Live Casino & Hotel Louisiana gearing up to open shop on February 13, 2025, DrafKings, one of America’s leading betting operators is also preparing to launch a retail sportsbook in the new venue.

The Live Casino & Hotel Louisiana project is worth $270 million, which will be located in Bossier City and is currently awaiting final regulatory approvals from the state-operated Louisiana Gaming Control Board.

By securing this deal, DraftKings will open up its retail sportsbook inside the special venue Sports & Social, where customers can enjoy a list of amenities, including live sports broadcasts, a full-service bar and restaurant, and betting kiosks.

Moreover, the Sports & Social venue will also enable customers to place bets across the biggest sports leagues in the United States, including the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB, as well as college sports events such as the NCAA league.

Michael Kibort, VP of Product Operations at DraftKings, commented on the exclusive opportunity and said that this strategic partnership will enable Louisiana gaming enthusiasts to enjoy the benefits of this project just ahead of March Madness.

With a shared commitment to innovation and entertainment, our latest retail sportsbook will deliver a premier sports betting experience just in time for fans to cheer on their favourite college basketball teams during March Madness.

John Chaszar, Executive VP and GM of Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana echoed Kibort’s sentiment and added that by adding DraftKings Sportsbook to the project, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is set to create the ultimate experience for sports betting enthusiasts.

With the addition of the DraftKings Sportsbook, we are elevating the experience for sports fans, connecting them to a new level of engagement.
