Aristocrat has issued an official statement confirming the resignation of Andy Hendrickson, its Chief Technology Officer, who left the company after four years as the CTO of one of the top iGaming brands.

At the moment of writing, Aristocrat has initiated interim leadership arrangements in place for the purpose of conducting both an external and internal search in order to find his successor.

The company hasn’t provided a precise timeline for when the new and permanent Chief Technology Officer will be appointed and revealed that the operations will proceed without any disruption during the transition.

Trevor Croker, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Aristocrat, commented on Hendrickson’s departure, highlighting his contribution to the company during his tenure, while announcing Aristocrat’s plans to find his successor.

We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the last four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course.

According to the policy of Aristocrat, Hendrickson is obliged to a six-month notice period, which is part of his contractual obligations, with Aristocrat yet to announce details about potential candidates to assume the role.

In related Aristocrat news, the company’s RMG (real-money gaming) division has entered a strategic partnership with Incentive Games, which allows the software provider to distribute RMG and free-to-play games via Aristocrat’s operator network for the purpose of expanding its content.

Earlier this year, Aristocrat Interactive entered a partnership with the leading Yggdrasil for the purpose of distributing its rich portfolio in North America via the Ignite platform of Aristocrat, and it also entered a five-year agreement with the Hungarian National Lottery via its iLottery studio NeoGames.

In February 2025, the company was also in the news for making major key leadership changes, where it revealed that it had appointed Nir Hakarmeli as its iGaming & Sports Managing Director.

Hakarmeli brings 15 years of experience in the industry, having previously occupied upper-management positions at William Hill and Evoke.
