Alex Tomic, the CEO and founder of one of the leading aggregator platforms in the iGaming industry, Alea, has stepped down from his position, and appointed Jordi Sendra, former COO, as his replacement.
At the same time, Ramon Glieneke has been appointed as the new COO, a position in which he will be tasked to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, a role which is perfect given his extensive experience in the realm of aggregation in other industries.
Alea has grown into a leading global aggregation company over the course of several years, strengthening its position in some of the biggest markets, particularly in Asia, Africa, and Latam.
The new non-executive role assumed by Alex Tomic will allow the founder and former CEO to focus more on the company’s general strategy in both their present and new and emerging markets.
Moreover, it also means that Tomic will have more time to dedicate to his growing commitments in the iGaming industry outside of his company, given his ever-growing status as a leading member of the iGaming community.
Shortly after Tomic stepped down from his position as CEO of Alea, Jordi Sendra expressed gratitude and excitement for the trust placed upon him by Alex and the team, stating that the appointment of Ramon as the new COO would be an excellent addition to the already-winning roster of Alea.
