Gamblers Connect is thrilled to report that Jason Smith is the winner of the NLH Gamblers Connect side event during the PartyPoker Tour UK in London that took place at the Aspers Casino!
In what was one of the most exciting head-to-heads in the tournament, Jason’s poker prowess displayed throughout the PartyPoker Tour culminated in him winning the Gamblers Connect side event, entering the final showdown with an impressive 3:1 chip lead.
As a true poker professional, Smith managed to come on top by managing a competitive field thanks to his excellent decision-making and intelligent play, consequently securing his spot as one of the two remaining players.
Before the start of the final showdown, both finalists made a deal to play an ICM (Independent Chip Model), thus ensuring a fair split of the prize money. However, while the money was to be split equally, the prestigious Gamblers Connect Trophy could only go to one player – the winner.
After a nail-biting head-to-head full of excitement and unpredictable twists, it was Jason who came out on top, ensuring his win and netting a fantastic prize of £1,697 along with the Gamblers Connect silverware.
