Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) has revealed that it launched real-time gamification and sports betting features on its streaming app Monumental+ (M+) for both Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals games.
This is possible thanks to the partnerships with BetMGM and Play Anywhere, a feat that marks the first-ever local sports streaming service that is not based in Las Vegas to launch interactive gaming elements and live betting odds.
As a result, the new “Monumental Game Center” offers customers a state-of-the-art interactive experience which allows them to use features such as in-game player statistics, real-time betting odds, gamification options such as predictive polls and trivia, as well as live analytics.
The key features include:
- In-game player stats
- Advanced game stats and play-by-play analysis
- Player bios and full-season stats
- League standings
- In-game polls, predictions, trivia questions, and other fun in the Monumental Game Center
Due to the partnership with BetMGM, viewers who stream the games on the M+ app will see prompts that display the live odds of BetMGM and also retain the option to use the in-app gaming features of the service. Players who decide they want to place bets will now be redirected to the official website of BetMGM.
Moreover, users of Monumental+ can also now enjoy an improved streaming service which includes alternate camera angles, functionality, and multiple simultaneous streaming game options.
Last but certainly not least, these new features will be available to both those viewers who access M+ via their TV providers and direct-to-consumer subscribers. The betting features of the service are restricted to viewers below 21, and this will be verified via the safety protocols of BetMGM.
