Ahead of the highly anticipated Bloko Padel Tour 2026 Grand Finale in Rome, Blokotech has officially confirmed that the tournament series will return for an expanded 2027 season in partnership with SiGMA. Building upon the momentum of its inaugural year, the upcoming circuit will feature an additional stop, bringing the total to six competitive tournaments hosted across key strategic hubs in Europe and Latin America.
The series continues its core mission of connecting the global iGaming community through sportsmanship, combining athletic competition with high-energy networking both on and off the court.
The 2027 season will get underway in Barcelona on January 18, coinciding with the ICE conference. Subsequent international legs will take place in Buenos Aires on March 15 and São Paulo on April 5, followed by a European stop in Malta on May 3. The final two stops in Mexico City and the Rome Grand Finale will have their exact dates and venues announced in due course.
Inclusive competition and structured categories
Designed to accommodate players of all skill levels within the iGaming industry, each stop will feature both Beginner and Advanced draws. The Beginner category is tailored for recreational players new to the sport, while the Advanced bracket requires participants to meet a minimum official category rating. Competitors will earn ranking points at each tournament, culminating in a fierce race where the highest-placed pairs qualify for the season-ending Grand Finale in Rome.
Every tournament will be hosted at private padel clubs, with the six dates strategically spread across the calendar year to allow delegates ample time to incorporate travel into their conference schedules.
Salvatore Messina, Co-Founder and CEO at Blokotech, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming circuit:
“The first season has shown us what this series can be. Every competition brought more people from the industry onto the court, and the conversations afterwards had an energy you sometimes just don’t get standing at a booth. Six cities means a longer season and a real race for ranking points all the way to the Grand Finale. Barcelona in January is the perfect opener, and we cannot wait to see who turns up this time.”
Building on inaugural success
The announcement arrives as the inaugural Bloko Padel Tour nears its conclusion following successful legs in Buenos Aires, Malta, Miami, and Mexico City. The 2026 Grand Finale will take place in Rome during SiGMA World, highlighted by the attendance of World Cup winner and official tour ambassador Marco Materazzi. Registration for the opening 2027 tournament in Barcelona is now officially open via the Blokotech website, welcoming participants to register either individually or as a pair.
