Galaxy Gaming, Inc., a leading independent developer and distributor of casino table games and technology, announced the appointment of John M. Boushy to its Board of Directors, effective October 21, 2026. Mr. Boushy succeeds Meredith Brill, who informed the Board of her decision to step down as a Class II Director after four years of distinguished service.
John M. Boushy brings more than 45 years of extensive executive leadership experience across the gaming, hospitality, technology, and entertainment industries. He currently serves as the Founder and Managing Member of Boushy Consulting, LLC, advising gaming operators, investors, and senior executives on strategic, operational, and development matters.
Through his advisory practice, he has held executive management roles with the parent company of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, advised the Second Priority Noteholders Committee during the bankruptcy of Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, served on the board of Caesars Entertainment following its emergence from bankruptcy, and acted as Co-Founder and Chairman of the parent company of ReelMetrics since 2015.
Distinguished gaming career and technological innovation
Prior to founding Boushy Consulting, Mr. Boushy served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of Ameristar Casinos, Inc., where he spearheaded company operations and growth strategies. Before his tenure at Ameristar, he spent over two decades with Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., holding key senior executive positions including Executive Vice President of Project Development, Design and Construction, Chief Integration Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Senior Vice President of Operations, Marketing, and Technology.
During his time at Harrah’s, Mr. Boushy managed enterprise-wide strategic growth initiatives powered by the collaboration of operations, marketing, and information technology. He successfully led the integration of the landmark merger between Harrah’s Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment, delivering twice the proforma synergies, and directed major development capital investment projects. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in applying technology, marketing analytics, and operational excellence within the gaming sector, laying the groundwork for what is now Caesars Total Rewards.
