Racecourse Media Group has appointed Andrew Demaria as its first Chief Content Officer, bringing in a senior media executive with more than 25 years of experience across major international networks. Demaria previously held senior leadership positions at CNN, where he spent over 16 years building and leading digital brands such as CNN Travel and CNN Style, ultimately serving as Vice President and Managing Editor of CNN Digital International. He subsequently joined NBCUniversal as Vice President and Executive Creative Director, guiding global commercial content, brand strategy, and major events across sports, news, and entertainment portfolios.
In his new capacity, Demaria will oversee content strategy, audience development, digital growth, data and insights, marketing integration, and content partnerships. The appointment is designed to drive subscriber growth, audience engagement, and commercial performance across the business by integrating broadcast, digital, marketing, and data capabilities. Based previously in Hong Kong and London, Demaria brings extensive cross-market expertise spanning the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
