
Executive Leadership Appointment Effective September 2026
FDJ UNITED has announced the appointment of Virginie Christnacht as Chief Communications Officer for the Group, effective September 14, 2026.
In this role, Christnacht will join the Group’s Executive Committee, taking responsibility for defining and implementing FDJ UNITED’s communications strategy, enhancing its reputation, raising its profile both in France and internationally, and supporting the Group’s ongoing transformation under its strategic plan.
Professional Background and Public Sector Experience
Prior to joining FDJ UNITED, Christnacht served as Senior Managing Director at international advisory firm Teneo, where she advised senior executives and executive committees in France and abroad on strategic communications, reputation management, crisis management, and public relations. From 2018 to 2023, she was Eurazeo’s Group Chief Communications Officer and a member of its Executive Committee, guiding the investment group’s communications strategy, new brand platform rollout, and international visibility during a period of transformation.

Her career also includes senior positions within French public institutions, serving as Head of the French government’s Department of Communications (SIG) from 2017 to 2018 and Deputy Press Advisor to the Office of the French President from 2014 to 2017. She began her career in the private sector with organizations including Vinci, CNP Assurances, and Dexia. Christnacht holds a master’s degree in business law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a DESS postgraduate degree in corporate legal advice.
