The Superbet logo, featuring the company name in white, angled text on a solid red background ,Sacha Dragic.

Superbet is transitioning its leadership structure from a co-CEO model to a singular executive command, appointing Sacha Dragic as the company’s sole Chief Executive Officer.

This planned evolution, set to take effect on January 1 of next year, is reflective of the group’s organizational maturity and its heightened ambitions for sustainable global expansion. As part of the changes, Jimmy Maymann, the outgoing co-CEO, will transition back to the company’s board of directors, retaining an advisory role.

The leadership restructuring also involves key internal promotions aimed at strengthening the executive core. Albert Simsensohn, who currently serves as the group’s Chief Operating Officer, will be elevated to the role of Deputy CEO. Furthermore, Eamonn O’Loughlin, the current International Chief Commercial Officer, will step into the crucial role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

These appointments are designed to support Dragic’s vision for growth and to streamline the company’s operational and expansion strategies. The changes signify a deliberate move to push forward aggressively, positioning Superbet for its next phase of significant international development and market penetration.

In parallel with these significant leadership announcements, Superbet has confirmed a successful expansion of its regulatory footprint by securing an operational license for the market of Croatia.

This new accreditation adds to the company’s existing presence in several key international jurisdictions, including major markets such as Romania, Malta, and Brazil. Superbet currently operates online services in Romania and maintains both online and retail operations in Poland.

The addition of the Croatian license, alongside existing accreditations in Cyprus, Serbia, and Bulgaria, underscores the group’s commitment to strategic market entry and regulated growth across Central and Eastern Europe and beyond. The securing of the Croatian license is particularly meaningful for the organization, further cementing its international growth story.

Sacha Dragic, Superbet Sole Chief Executive Officer:

“This planned evolution of our leadership team marks a natural step in our growth journey. It reflects the maturity of our organisation and our ambition to push forward, positioning Superbet for the next phase of sustainable global expansion.”

Jimmy Maymann, Former Co-CEO, returning to the Board of Directors:

“It’s been a privilege to work with Sacha and the whole Superbet team and I’ll continue to do so as an advisor and as part of the group’s board. This is a great company with a huge potential ahead and I’ll stay engaged and help see it materialise.”

Saša Žugaj, Superbet’s Group Compliance Director:

“This one is special not only because it marks another expansion milestone for our group, but because it’s home. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this happen — your teamwork, commitment and expertise continue to make Superbet’s international growth story possible.”
