In a significant strategic expansion into Latin America, global advisory firm SCCG Management has announced the launch of SCCG Brazil, appointing veteran industry executive Jose Augusto Paulista as its Country Manager.
This move establishes a key regional hub for the company as Brazil advances its new regulatory framework for sports betting and iGaming.
Paulista brings over 18 years of extensive industry experience to the role, having held senior compliance and operational positions at leading international companies, including Entain, PokerStars, Lottoland, and Dazn Bet.
His distinguished background includes developing robust anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks and risk systems across multiple European jurisdictions.
As a certified professional by the International Compliance Association and fluent in four languages, Paulista is exceptionally qualified to lead SCCG’s operations and guide clients through the complexities of the emerging Brazilian market.
The new SCCG Brazil office will function as a full-service regional advisory center. It is set to offer a comprehensive suite of services, including business development, strategic licensing support, payment solutions, AML implementation, and fraud detection.
A core part of its mission will be to connect local Brazilian operators with SCCG’s global network of technology suppliers in areas like sportsbook tech, CRM, payments, and advanced AI risk solutions, thereby facilitating market entry and growth.
