Over 30 years after the show first aired, the iconic TV series Friends has made its official debut in the online casino world, courtesy of BetMGM.

Gaming operator BetMGM has exclusively launched “The One With the Multi Drop,” the first-ever officially licensed slot game based on the beloved show.

The game was developed by the London-based studio Atlantic Digital and has gone live for players in the regulated US markets of Michigan and New Jersey, with additional states expected to follow.

This launch marks the beginning of a larger partnership, with BetMGM planning to release more Friends-themed titles in the coming months.

“The One With the Multi Drop” is designed to immerse players in the world of the show. The gameplay is set in the famous apartment belonging to Monica and Rachel and features all the main characters on the reels, including Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, and Chandler.

The experience is enhanced with classic catchphrases from the show, such as “Pivot” and “How you doin’?”, which highlight winning moments, all while the show’s theme song, “I’ll Be There For You,” plays in the background.

This release adds to Atlantic Digital‘s growing portfolio of slot games based on popular entertainment brands.

The studio has previously developed titles based on other major TV shows and movies, including The GodfatherStar Trek: The Next Generation, and Cheers.

This new game allows BetMGM to leverage a globally recognized brand to attract a wide audience of players.

Sam Hobcraft, Atlantic Digital CEO, said:

Friends is one of the most iconic and beloved television shows of all time. Bringing it to life in an interactive casino format has been both a privilege and a creative challenge. Our mission is to merge world-class entertainment IP with innovative gameplay, and Friends: The One With the Multi Drop™ is a perfect example of that. We’re thrilled to partner with BetMGM to deliver this exclusive experience to players in the US.

Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM VP of Gaming, said:

BetMGM is proud to be the first to bring Friends to iGaming and offer players a new way to engage with the familiar sights and sounds of the show. Atlantic Digital recognizes the nostalgia and captivating moments of the best television and movie IP and truly brings them to life for iGaming.
