Evolution has officially launched its first-ever live casino studio in Asia, marking a major milestone with the opening of a new facility in Cebu, Philippines.

This development strengthens the company’s presence in one of the few regulated iGaming markets in Asia and aligns with its broader expansion strategy.

Developed in partnership with One Visaya Gaming Corporation (OVG), the Cebu studio currently offers live Baccarat tables tailored to meet the expectations of local and regional players. Evolution has confirmed that this is just the beginning, with plans to roll out additional titles later in 2025.

The upcoming games include popular formats such as Lightning Roulette, Marble Race, and a culturally adapted version known as the Super Color Game, designed specifically for Southeast Asian audiences.

The Philippines remains the only country in Asia with a fully licensed framework for online gambling, regulated under the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

By aligning with PAGCOR standards, Evolution positions itself to capitalize on the country’s growing digital gaming market while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

The Asian market has already proven lucrative for Evolution. In Q1 2025 alone, the region generated €201.9 million ($237.9 million) in revenue, making it the company’s most profitable territory for the quarter.

The addition of a dedicated live studio in Cebu signals Evolution’s commitment to scaling its operations across Asia and customizing content for regional tastes.

This launch follows similar studio openings in North America and Europe and reflects Evolution’s global push to lead the live dealer casino space. The company has also expressed interest in expanding into other Asian markets, pending the development of supportive regulatory frameworks.

As 2025 progresses, Evolution’s localized approach in the Philippines could become a blueprint for further growth across Asia’s emerging iGaming landscape.
