
In a strategic move to reinforce its executive tier, Sportradar has announced the appointment of Sameer Deen as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective May 18.
Deen, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in digital media and sports betting, will report directly to CEO Carsten Koerl.
A Proven Track Record in Scaling Businesses
Deen joins Sportradar from Entain, where he served as Group Chief Commercial Officer and President. His extensive background also includes pivotal roles at Univision Communications as Chief Digital Officer and Scripps Networks Interactive.
This breadth of experience across sports, technology, and user experience makes him uniquely qualified to oversee Sportradar’s global commercial and group operations.
In his new role, Deen is tasked with advance the company’s strategy, optimizing partnerships, and driving operational efficiency as Sportradar continues to expand its footprint in the high-growth sports technology landscape.
