Relax Gaming, a leading software provider has partnered with top US sportsbook DraftKings in a deal that will see its cutting-edge game portfolio introduced to players from North America, namely New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ontario.
This strategic collaboration marks yet another major step towards the recent expansion efforts of Relax Gaming into North America, consequently cementing its presence in two major regulated gaming markets, the United States and Canada.
As part of the agreement, DraftKings will integrate Relax Gaming’s blockbuster games into its top-tier casino platform, thus offering its players access to a range of popular titles from the lineup of the leading iGaming studio.
The deal comes during a time of increased activity for both Relax Gaming and DraftKings.
Namely, the top US sportsbook has recently revealed its 2024 fiscal year report that shows a 30.1% year-on-year revenue growth, reporting a whopping net income of $4.8 billion for the past year.
Moreover, DraftKings also posted its first-ever positive adjusted EBITDA, reaching $181.3 million for FY2024, nearly $30 million more when compared to the negative EBITDA of $151 million in 2023.
Perhaps the most commendable statistic is the 36.8% improvement when it comes to the company’s net loss when compared to FY 2023, a figure that reached $507.3 million in 2024.
Finally, DraftKings has revealed its projections for 2025 which show that the company expects total revenue income somewhere in the ballpark of $6.3 billion and $6.6 billion.
In other news related to Relax Gaming, the studio has revealed that it has dropped its 19th Dream Drop Mega Jackpot win in early January 2025. More specifically, a lucky player from Paraguay won €2.9m ($3m) on a €2 bet while playing the Beellionaiers Dream Drop.
Right before this, the iGaming provider entered a strategic partnership with leading casino NetBet in a deal that will allow NetBet Denmark to integrate Relax Gaming’s slot selection onto its platform.
