Gamblers Connect is excited to announce that the inaugural PartyPoker UK Tour made a debut this weekend at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in East London, kicking off with Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event.
At the end of day 1 of the PartyPoker Tour London, a total of 176 players registered for the event, with some of the most notable names including Glenn Brown, the driving force behind RedTooth Poker, and legendary local poker players Sam Acheampong and Tony Poulengeris. After 10 hours of play, Grace Smith emerged as the chip leader with a massive 487,500 chips.
Easter Sunday Highlights
Easter Sunday is bringing even more excitement with a unique twist—the £200 poker.pro PLO tournament, which begins at 6 p.m. Special bounties announced by poker.pro CEO Jason Glatzer will add an extra layer of fun, with players standing to win exclusive gifts from poker.pro and PartyPoker by eliminating designated bounty players on their first bullet.
At 2 pm, the PartyPoker Mini Event Day 1B (buy-in £150) starts, and don’t miss out the Pub Quiz tonight at 8 pm at the Tanzibar’s pub inside the Casino! The entrance is free, and all winning teams will grab tickets to the Mini Main Event.

This event also marks the start of poker.pro’s live reporting for the week. Alek Gillies, a seasoned live reporter, will be on-site to provide real-time updates, starting with the poker.pro PLO.
