Promotional art for GAMOMAT's Dead Legion slot, showing a skeletal Roman legionary ready for battle with the game title in a spooky font, against a dark, misty battlefield backdrop.

The leading independent German software developer, GAMOMAT, is set to send a chill through the iGaming world with the release of its latest horror-themed slot, Dead Legion.

The new title invites players into a macabre world where undead Roman soldiers have risen from a war-torn battlefield shrouded in an eerie mist.

Dead Legion creates an intensely atmospheric experience across its 5×3 reel layout. The game’s chilling theme is amplified by an epic, dark live orchestral soundtrack that immerses players in the grim setting.

The reels are haunted by ghostly figures from the past, with a skeletal Roman legionary featuring glowing blue eyes acting as the Wild symbol, substituting for all other symbols except the Scatter.

The main feature, Free Games, is triggered when three Scatter symbols, represented by a formidable undead Roman centurion on horseback, appear on the reels. Once the bonus round begins, the gameplay intensifies with a sticky wild mechanic.

Any undead Roman legionnaire Wild that lands on the reels becomes locked in place for the remainder of the round, its eyes glowing a haunting red to confirm the change. These sticky wilds accumulate to create the potential for significant wins at the end of the feature.

GAMOMAT is distributing Dead Legion through its proprietary Remote Gaming Server, G-RGS, and making it available to a wider audience via the Bragg HUB.

This new title joins the developer’s impressive lineup of successful horror-themed games, which already includes fan favorites like Xploding Pumpkins and the popular Book of Madness series, further cementing GAMOMAT’s reputation for creating compelling and thematic slot experiences.

GAMOMAT Distribution GmbH Lead Game Composer Iris Wallner, said:

Dead Legion will always be one of those projects I’ll never forget. Standing in front of a 64‑piece live orchestra and hearing that first dark swell of sound was pure magic. Every musician brought their own energy, creating something powerful and raw that no sample can match. Bringing this vision to life isn’t just about adding music – it’s raising the bar for how immersive our games can be. It’s a statement that kicks off our horror-themed line-up in unforgettable style.
