Light & Wonder’s in-house studio, Lightning Box, has launched the digital version of its popular land-based slot, Big Hot Flaming Pots: Tasty Treasures.

The release brings the culinary-themed title to online casinos, adapting its proven mechanics for a digital audience while retaining the features that made it a hit in physical venues.

Enhanced Mechanics and Features

Set on a 3×5 grid with 243 ways to win, the online adaptation introduces an “enhanced mix of mechanics” designed to boost player engagement. The game features three distinct modes, Yummy, Spicy, and Upsized, triggered by various scatter combinations.

A key highlight is the Stack N’ Hit feature, which locks bun symbols in place to award extra respins. Additionally, the game offers multiple paths to jackpots via “Chili enhancements, dual grids and pepper trackers,” culminating in two fixed jackpots alongside Major and Grand progressive prizes.

From Land-Based to Digital

Michael Maokhamphiou, Studio Director at Lightning Box, described the release as a natural evolution for the brand. “Big Hot Flaming Pots: Tasty Treasures carries forward a brand that has already made its mark in land-based venues and evolves it for online audiences,” Maokhamphiou said.

“With seven feature paths and the proven Stack N’ Hit mechanic, this release offers operators a flexible, high-performing title that combines familiarity with fresh layers of engagement.”
