DigiPlus Interactive Corp, one of the largest Philippine iGaming tech companies, is the latest firm to secure a Brazilian iGaming license to legally offer its services in the country.
As of the 1st of January 2025, DigiPlus has been bestowed with the blessing to offer both online casino games and online sports betting in Brazil, making it the latest to become certified to operate in this newly launched market that went live on the 1st of January, 2025.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp will operate in the country via its local subsidiary, DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltd, thus becoming one of the select 10% of applicants who have been granted permission to enter Brazil and work in one of the biggest legal gambling markets on the planet.
Eusebio Tanco, Chairman of DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltd, has expressed excitement about the prospect of seeing his company thrive on existing experiences, such as the BingoPlus and ArenaPlus platforms that currently operate in the Philippines.
Furthermore, Tanco added that he is confident that DigiPlus has all the neccessary tools to align with the newly-introduced regulatory framework of Brazil, something that highlights the dedication to expanding in a new market while still maintaining a core focus on the Philippines.

Despite DigiPlus Interactive’s entrance into the Brazilian gaming scene, the country still remains adamant that any company, regulator, stakeholder, and similar responsible parties, must meet Brazil’s two main priorities if it wants to receive accreditation.
The first is to protect players and promote responsible gambling practices in a transparent and meaningful way, following in the footsteps of successful markets such as the United Kingdom, Malta, etc.
The second goal is pinpointing and neutralizing black market operators, with the country already publishing a list of several hundred websites that are considered illegal.
According to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, if the Brazilian iGaming market suddenly overflows with illegal, i.e. black market operators, the government will have no other option but to reverse the regulatory rules, and consequently, suspend the gambling market.
