Leadership Evolution Comes Amid Strong Business Momentum, Recent World Cup Success, and Planned Strategic Acquisitions
OpenBet, a leading global provider of betting and gaming technology, has announced the appointment of Nikos Konstakis as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective at the end of the year. Concurrently, current CEO Jordan Levin will transition to the role of Chairman, where he will continue shaping the company’s long-term strategy.
The leadership change builds upon Konstakis’s established executive responsibilities within OpenBet, where he has driven operational and commercial execution for over eight years. In his new capacity as CEO, Konstakis will oversee day-to-day business operations, guiding product and technology priorities to support the company’s global customer base.
Strong Momentum and Operational Milestones
The transition arrives during a period of significant growth for OpenBet. The company recently announced plans to acquire OmniLogic, a move designed to strengthen its standing in the global lottery market and expand relationships with World Lottery Association (WLA) operators. Additionally, OpenBet demonstrated robust technical capability during the World Cup by processing over 175 million bets totaling $3 billion in wagers. This follows a 2025 management buyout backed by Ariel Emanuel and OpenBet executives.
Outgoing CEO Jordan Levin expressed full confidence in his successor:
“Nikos has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet and I have tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO, having served in multiple and progressing senior executive positions at OpenBet. He knows our business, our customers and our technology inside out, and has played a central role in shaping our priorities and how we execute against them.”
Incoming CEO Nikos Konstakis added:
“We have an exceptional customer base, a great team and significant opportunities ahead of us. My focus will be on building on those strengths, bringing even greater pace and focus to the business and making sure we continue to set the standard in the markets we serve.”
