Technology Hub Continues Operating at Full Capacity with Over 1,000 Employees
Flutter Entertainment has officially appointed Seema Padman as the General Manager of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) based in Hyderabad, India. Despite the group’s withdrawal of its Junglee division from the country following regulatory shifts in 2025, the multi-million-dollar technology hub remains fully operational, supporting a workforce of more than 1,000 employees.
Leadership and Growth of the Hyderabad Facility
Since joining the company as its People Leader when the Hyderabad GCC first opened in April 2024, Padman has been instrumental in scaling the center’s headcount beyond 1,000 staff members and establishing specialized teams across high-priority capabilities.
In her new capacity as General Manager, Padman will collaborate closely with Flutter’s leadership team to drive several key organizational objectives:
- Brand Delivery: Strengthening service delivery and operational execution across the group’s diverse international brands.
- High-Performance Culture: Cultivating an inclusive, high-performance workplace environment that fosters internal mobility and professional development.
- Flutter Edge Integration: Expanding the hub’s contribution to Flutter Edge, the group’s foundational framework combining technology, product innovation, elite talent, and global scale to maintain competitive advantage.
Professional Background and Leadership Perspective
Padman brings over two decades of extensive executive experience spanning the technology, pharmaceuticals, and retail sectors. Her professional background includes senior leadership roles overseeing human resources functions for multiple international markets at Epsilon, as well as previous experience with AstraZeneca. She holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.
Commenting on her new leadership role, Seema Padman stated:
“I’ve seen first-hand the depth of talent, capability and ambition within the Hyderabad GCC. I’m looking forward to bringing those strengths together and working with our leaders to create an environment where both our people and our business can thrive. I’m excited about the opportunity ahead, and about the contribution Hyderabad can make to Flutter’s global organisation.”
