Sportsbook Bet9ja from Nigeria is significantly increasing its commitment to professional boxing by announcing a new multi-year sponsorship agreement with Balmoral Group Promotions.

This landmark partnership is designed to elevate the profile of Nigerian boxing on both the domestic and international stages through a series of high-profile, professionally managed events.

The collaboration is set to make its debut with a major event titled “Chaos In The Ring,” scheduled to take place on October 1, 2025, which is Nigerian Independence Day.

The event will be held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos and is poised to be a landmark night for the sport in the country. The main event will feature a compelling international matchup between American cruiserweight Brandon Glanton (20-3, 17 KOs) and Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding (30-3, 18 KOs), a former WBA super middleweight champion.

The undercard is equally impressive, featuring former IBF lightweight champion Richard Commey in a bout against Shiloh Defreitas.

The event will also showcase appearances from other international talents, including Dan Azeez, ensuring a night of world-class boxing.

This high-profile event is being presented in partnership with former world champion Amir Khan’s AK Promotions and has received official support from Nigeria’s National Sports Commission.

Global sports streaming service DAZN will provide live broadcast coverage, bringing the event to an international audience. This partnership follows Bet9ja’s recent sponsorship of British-Nigerian heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, which was announced earlier this month.

Jennifer Olatunji, Senior Marketing Manager of Bet9ja, stated:

“Bet9ja is proud to back Nigerian boxing through this transformative partnership with Balmoral Group Promotions. Our shared vision is to shine a spotlight on the incredible grit and talent within our nation, building future stars and delivering some of Nigeria’s most proud and publicised sporting nights.”

Dr. Ezekiel Adamu, CEO of Balmoral Group Promotions, added:

“This multi-year sponsorship from Bet9ja is a game-changer for Nigerian boxing. Together with AK Promotions and Amir Khan, we’re not just hosting fights – we’re building hope, uniting communities and positioning Nigeria as a powerhouse in the global boxing arena.”
