
Financial performance and operational growth
IZI Finance plc announced its audited financial results for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, marking a year of robust expansion across all core business segments. For the first time in its corporate history, the group exceeded one billion euros in both turnover and player winnings. Operating as Malta’s leading gaming operator through the National Lottery concession, Dragonara Casino, and expanding digital products, the group reported significant year-on-year increases across all key financial metrics.
Turnover climbed to 1.172 billion euros, marking a 27.4 percent rise from the previous fiscal year, while player winnings totaled 1.060 billion euros. Gross gaming revenue increased by 18.3 percent to 110.9 million euros. Profitability improved substantially, with EBITDA reaching 37.3 million euros and profit before tax surging by approximately 102 percent to 14.4 million euros. Furthermore, the group generated 39.7 million euros in net cash from operating activities, supported by a healthy working capital surplus of 24.3 million euros.
Economic impact and strategic outlook
Beyond commercial growth, the group made a substantial contribution to the Maltese economy and society by paying 41.8 million euros in concession fees, gaming taxes, contributions to the Social Causes Fund, and sponsorships. This amount represented 37.7 percent of total gross gaming revenue. During the period, National Lottery plc maintained its World Lottery Association Level 4 Responsible Gaming Certification and attained ISO information security standards while joining the United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports.
