DigiPlus Interactive Corp., the Philippines’ leading digital entertainment provider behind popular platforms like BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, has announced its financial results for the first nine months of 2026, posting a robust net income of ₱8.9 billion.
This performance, inclusive of fair value gains from International Entertainment Corporation’s (IEC) convertible bonds, was achieved as improved operational efficiency and tighter cost controls successfully offset lower revenues amid a softer macroeconomic backdrop.
For the nine-month period, total EBITDA reached ₱8.3 billion. Third-quarter EBITDA edged up 0.3 percent quarter-on-quarter to ₱2.9 billion, while the EBITDA margin expanded by four percentage points to reach 22 percent. This margin enhancement was driven by the more effective deployment of advertising and promotional expenditures, the optimization of direct gaming costs, and rigorous control over operating expenses.
Net gaming revenue (NGR) after tax for the first nine months stood at ₱16.2 billion, with the NGR after-tax margin expanding five percentage points quarter-on-quarter to 40 percent.
Expanding user base and localized content
User metrics demonstrated consistent upward momentum across all core platforms. Average monthly active users (MAU) advanced 3 percent quarter-on-quarter to reach 5.9 million, while monthly active bettors and depositors (MABD) climbed 5 percent to 4.9 million. DigiPlus also maintained a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, contributing ₱13.9 billion in taxes and regulatory fees during the nine-month window to support government infrastructure and public services.
Commenting on the results, DigiPlus President Ping Chen stated:
“Our first nine months performance reflects the progress we are making in strengthening operating efficiency while building our user base and content. We remain focused on sustainable growth through self-development of compelling content, stronger user acquisition and retention, and disciplined spending on A&P and investments. Our average monthly active bettors and depositors (MABD) continues to grow and our user retention cohort continues to improve.”
To sustain player engagement, DigiPlus continued expanding its localized content portfolio. Through a strategic collaboration with Regal Entertainment, the company brought the iconic Shake, Rattle & Roll film franchise into the iGaming space, launching five dedicated titles on BingoPlus, Manananggal, Reyna Ahas, Triple Terror, LRT Monster, and Aswang, with subsequent rollouts planned for ArenaPlus and GameZone. Additionally, DigiPlus introduced nine proprietary self-developed games, including live offerings Bingo Speed and Live Mines, alongside specialty RNG games Beto Beto and Pinoy Drop Ball International.
Strong balance sheet and social impact
DigiPlus concluded the third quarter with ₱11.7 billion in cash and cash equivalents, marking an 11 percent increase from the previous quarter. Supported by a compelling dividend policy, the company strengthened its financial position after distributing ₱3.8 billion in dividends and investing ₱12.2 billion in IEC convertible notes during the first half of the year. This solid financial footing enables DigiPlus to pursue strategic growth opportunities across overseas markets, acquisitions, and advanced technology development while preserving strict financial discipline.
Corporate excellence and social responsibility initiatives also remained a priority. DigiPlus was honored as one of “Asia’s Best Performing Companies” at the 2026 ACES Awards and secured a 2-Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors for corporate governance. Furthermore, the company collected two accolades at the Inside Asian Gaming Academy Awards, winning “Best iGaming Operator” and “Best iGaming Innovation”.
Meanwhile, the DigiPlus Foundation invested ₱34.6 million in sustainable development programs during the period, bringing total lifetime contributions to ₱166.5 million and positively impacting 1.2 million Filipinos nationwide through calamity relief, medical missions, and educational scholarships.
