SBC Events has announced a landmark three-year partnership agreement with the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).

SBC Events has announced a landmark three-year partnership agreement with the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).

This strategic alliance aims to synchronize the efforts of regulators, legal experts, and event organizers to elevate the standards of global gambling education and international cooperation.

Focus on Multi-Channel Educational Projects

The partnership centers on the joint development of conferences, seminars, and a rich library of digital educational content. This includes the production of videos, podcasts, and interviews designed to keep industry stakeholders informed of the rapidly shifting legal landscapes in Latin America, Europe, North America, and Africa.

The collaboration brings together three distinct leaders: IAGR, the exclusive global association for gambling regulators; IMGL, the preeminent community for international gaming lawyers; and SBC, a global leader in industry events and media.

Leadership on the Value of Dialogue

Ben Haden, speaking for the regulatory community, highlighted the importance of transparent communication:

“I would like to highlight that a key opportunity for gambling regulatory authorities throughout the world is the ability to ensure smooth communication with all the participants of the global gambling industry and thus exchange views on changes in rules and regulations… we will have many opportunities to discuss the current issues with gambling businesses and help each other improve the standards.”

Marc Dunbar emphasized the synergy of the three groups:

“This is the perfect project to update our industry about the changes that occur in legislation of different countries. We can combine the IMGL community of online gambling lawyers, the IAGR’s membership of gambling regulators, and SBC’s international reach.”

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder of SBC, noted the necessity of the project:

“Regulation has never played such a key role in the work of gambling enterprises, and the fast-changing legal framework makes it very hard to keep track of the current trends… I am delighted to team up with IAGR and IMGL in order to offer the best educational content to our community.”

Upcoming Global Milestones

The partnership’s first major projects include the regulatory program at the events SBC Summit Lisbon (Sept 29 – Oct 1, 2026) and the IAGR Annual Conference in Lima, Peru, scheduled for October 19–22, 2026.
