Emerging-Markets Aggregator Integrates Indie Studio’s No-Clone Content Across LatAm, Africa, and Beyond
QTech Games, the leading game aggregator for emerging markets, has expanded its premium content pipeline through a new distribution agreement with EXCO Game Studio.
Known for its “no more clones” philosophy, EXCO Game Studio rejects reskins, white-label shortcuts, and copycat formulas in favor of custom-building every title from scratch. Under the partnership, QTech Games will distribute EXCO’s innovative slot games to operators across rapidly growing regions like Latin America and Africa.
Technical Innovation: GAMEX Engines and Configurable Volatility
To break away from standard market offerings, EXCO Game Studio has developed its own foundation tools. Rather than licensing third-party systems, the developer builds its games on GAMEX, its proprietary mechanics framework.
This is paired with EXCO HACKS, a configurable, operator-facing suite that allows casinos to tweak volatility, adjust engagement metrics, and tailor game behavior to better match localized player preferences in diverse jurisdictions.

Expanding Access Across LatAm and Africa
For QTech Games, this partnership enhances its proprietary, mobile-optimized technical platform. Designed to act as a one-stop-shop for global casinos, the platform provides rapid API integration, performance analytics, and localized customer support across both growing and mature markets.
Philip Doftvik, CEO of QTech, highlighted the strategic value of EXCO’s original mechanics:
“EXCO Game Studio is fast becoming renowned for creating clever, fresh-faced mechanics for compelling and immersive experiences. In a homogenous space often devoid of original thinking, they offer mechanics which afford players a breakthrough user experience which they don’t get anywhere else. Our social mechanics also caught our eye, and QTech Play’s recommendation engine is now surfacing that shareable content to the players most likely to engage with it.”
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at EXCO Game Studio, expressed excitement about introducing their games to new, untapped player groups:
“The online slots industry is drowning in copycat product… At EXCO we don’t do boardroom handcuffs and we don’t do safe. Our job is new themes, new mechanics, things that actually make a player feel something… We’re also building a new breed of games made for streamers: social-sharing baked in, player-first maths, content next-gen players don’t scroll past. QTech puts us in front of players across LatAm and Africa who’ve never had an EXCO game land in their lobby.”
