The Kambi Group has announced a multi-year extension of its collaboration with the leading Dutch online betting operator BetCity, in a bid that will ensure the continued use of Kambi’s turnkey sportsbook solution.

This partnership renewal follows the acquisition of BetCity by Entain in 2022 and it only shows the company’s focus on further cementing its presence in the regulated and booming Dutch market.

The partnership between Kambi Group and BetCity first started back in 2021, which interestingly enough, was at the same time as with the launch of the Dutch newly-regulated online gambling industry.

Werner Becher, Chief Executive Officer of Kambi, expressed enthusiasm about the renewal and said that the company is delighted with the prospect of partnering with a brand that demonstrates “remarkable ambition since its inception”:

We are pleased to continue our partnership with BetCity, a brand that has demonstrated remarkable ambition since its inception. This agreement highlights the strong relationship we have developed over the years and reaffirms Kambi’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and services for success in regulated markets.”

Vic Walia, Chief Executive Officer of BetCity, echoed Becher’s sentiments and said that their partnership plays a crucial role in the company’s growth, being that it helps them establish a strong presence in such a competitive market.

Our partnership with Kambi has been instrumental in BetCity’s growth, helping us establish a strong presence in a competitive market. Kambi’s advanced sportsbook technology and high-quality service have been key drivers of our success, and we’re excited to extend this collaboration.

As part of the agreement, BetCity will continue to leverage Shape Games’ front-end technology, a Kambi Group division that is responsible for improving app functionality and user experience.

In related news, Kambi has recently been on a dedicated mission to boost its global network.

Namely, in January 2025, the company entered a deal with the leading and renowned crypto betting operator Stake to provide its turnkey sportsbook in Brazil, following the country’s official launch of its regulated market, allowing Stake to integrate Kambi’s sportsbook both in Brazil and other international markets.

Moreover, Kambi has also strengthened its offerings with the launch of Odds Feed+, which was integrated into the platform of Brazilian fantasy sports operator Rei do Pitaco towards the end of 2024.
