In a landmark step for its global interactive strategy, Amusnet has secured a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
This certification grants the provider entry into one of North America’s most strictly regulated and commercially lucrative iGaming jurisdictions.
A Benchmarking Jurisdiction
Ontario is widely regarded as a key benchmark for suppliers entering the North American region due to its emphasis on high-tier technology standards, rigorous player protection, and data security. By meeting the AGCO’s strict integrity requirements, Amusnet has established a foundation of trust that will be instrumental as it looks to scale into other Canadian provinces and U.S. states.
The supplier will initially roll out its high-performing iGaming portfolio to local operators, with a long-term roadmap that includes the potential introduction of its land-based solutions.
Strategic Expansion Goals
Ivo Georgiev, CEO of Amusnet, emphasized the importance of the Canadian entry:
“Securing the AGCO licence is an important milestone for Amusnet and reflects our long-term commitment to operating in fully regulated markets. Our entry into Ontario represents a key strategic step into North America, which is a high-priority region with strong long-term growth potential. We look forward to partnering with local operators and building a sustainable presence in the market.”
This Ontario registration marks a turning point for Amusnet, transitioning the company from a primarily European and LatAm-focused provider into a truly global iGaming technology partner.
