Merkur Bets has entered a strategic partnership with Tipwin in a development that will enable an extensive cooperation between their sports betting shops in Germany.
More specifically, Merkur Bets, the sports betting brand of Merkur Group, will take over the product range of Tipwin in its sports betting shops as a franchisee. As a result of this, the extensive network of sports betting shops of Merkur Bets will work under the brand name “Merkur Bets powered by Tipwin”.
From here, the complete integration of all locations of Merkur is scheduled to take place during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025.
This partnership allows Merkur to not only expand its presence in the land-based gaming sector but also allows it to boost its online gaming presence and, consequently, strengthen the development of its cutting-edge online gaming product.
Consequently, there are two major appointments for Merkur recently that highlight the company’s aspirations. One of these is the appointment of Christian Gruber as the new Chief Operating Officer, and the other is the appointment of Thomas Andreas as the company’s new Marketing Officer.
Both Gruber and Andreas are proven and respected individuals with extensive experience in the iGaming realm, making them the perfect addition at the right time when Merkur Bets expands its base of operations.
