Nord DDB has been revealed as the new agency tasked to create creative campaigns, concepts, and services for both Svenska Spel and Svenska Spel Tur.

This development took place after the operator announced a public procurement campaign that was launched back in Autumn 2024 and ended in March of this year.

The contract between Nord DDB, Svenska Spel and Svenska Spel Tur is for the next two years, with the possibility of two extensions in the length of one year.

As part of the creative duties of Nord DDB, the company will engage in creative communication for the following brands: Svenska Spel, Lyckoplasten, Lotto, Keno, Triss, and Eurojackpot.

At the moment, Svenska Spel is in the process of developing a clear strategy and working hard to reinforce its current brand position and clarify its offering to appeal to more players, while at the same time continuing to manage and develop a portfolio of some of the top brands in the market.

Speaking of, this partnership with Nord DDB will include a wide portfolio of leading iGaming companies, with Svenska Spel informing all those who were part of the tender regarding the procurement decision on the 4th of April.

Frank Hojem, Communications Director at Svenska Spel, commented on the development and welcomed Nord DDB to the family of Svenska Spel and the brands in the Tur portfolio:

We would like to thank all bidders who submitted such high-quality bids. I would also like to welcome Nord DDB to Svenska Spel. This procurement includes both the brands in the Tur portfolio and the Svenska Spel brand. We look forward to working with DDB to strengthen the synergies between the product brands and Svenska Spel. Together with DDB, we want to further strengthen the Tur business and realize the movement and positioning of the Svenska Spel brand.

Andres Hult, Head of Client Direction at Nord DDB, said that the company is excited about the unique opportunity to work closely with Svenska Spel and some of the most “classic and iconic brands” in Sweden:

We are both proud and happy to continue our collaboration with Svenska Spel and have the opportunity to work together to develop some of Sweden’s most classic and iconic brands. We obviously think it is extra fun to add the Svenska Spel brand to our work together.

In related news, the Swedish Svenska Spel has recently appointed Amäni Radwan as the new Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, the company also posted its Q4 financial results that show a healthy operating profit of SEK 535 million ($55.4 million), which is a 10% increase from the previous year.
