3 Oaks Gaming, one of the leading iGaming software providers, has received the neccessary certification from the National Gaming Office of Romania (ONJN) that allows it to provide its services in the country legally.

As a result of obtaining the approval, 3 Oaks Gaming can now distribute its rich game portfolio to Romanian gaming enthusiasts, and this includes some of the studio’s most popular releases such as Sun of Egypt 4, 3 Hot Chillies, Coin UP: Lightning, and many more.

This development marks yet another major milestone for 3 Oaks Gaming in its bid to conquer the European gaming scene, a venture that started in Spring of 2024, establishing it as one of the biggest gaming hubs in Southeast Europe.

Coincidently, the approval comes several months after the official gambling regulator in Romania passed the new legislation for B2B and B2C companies, namely the Joint Operation of Gambling Activities, released in September 2024.

Moreover, 3 Oaks Gaming proceeds with its global expansion, which started in 2024 after the provider obtained the UK Gambling Commission license, as well as the accreditation to legally operate in the booming gaming market in Portugal and afterwards partnering with Betclic.

Additionally, the supplier also entered the newly regulated Brazilian market back in March 2024, after the studio partnered with EstrelaBet, forged a strategic partnership with RSI, particularly for Latin America, and signed an agreement with WA. Technology in August of the same year.

Yuriy Muratov, Chief Commercial Officer at 3 Oaks Gaming, commented on this milestone and said that it shows the studio’s focus on expanding into major European regulated markets such as Romania and providing them with “high quality” content.

Securing certification for our games in Romania represents an important milestone for 3 Oaks Gaming as we continue to extend our reach across Europe. This achievement demonstrates our focus on providing engaging, compliant and high-quality content to new markets. Romania is a vibrant and growing market, and we are eager to collaborate with local operators to bring our diverse range of games to players in the country.
