Integrated marketing brought inside the programme
Gamblers Connect, the independent B2B iGaming media platform, today confirmed Lauranne Urban, Chief Marketing Officer of SiGMA Group, as the tenth voice to join the 2026 Contributors Program. The programme reveals one senior industry voice per month across the calendar year, and each contributor publishes under the Gamblers Connect Contributor Editorial Code.
A note on our relationship with SiGMA: Gamblers Connect has a media collaboration with SiGMA Play, part of SiGMA Group, announced on 27 August 2026, and is a finalist for Best iGaming Media 2026 at the SiGMA World Awards. Contributors are hand picked by Gamblers Connect, and the programme is separate from both.
Urban leads marketing across SiGMA Group, which runs eight summits a year on four continents alongside its news, media and other projects. By her own account, she oversees a creative department of around 100 people spanning digital marketing, design, content, video and news, and she describes SiGMA as an integrated marketing business as much as an events company.
She joined SiGMA more than five years ago through a language internship programme, worked across sales and marketing, and rose to Chief Marketing Officer. Before SiGMA she completed a master’s degree in marketing and spent four years in B2B marketing with an automotive group in France, and she has more than ten years in marketing in total.
Focus area: Integrated marketing as a growth discipline
Under the Contributors Program, Lauranne will publish on three connected themes. The first is integrated marketing at scale: how one creative team plans and runs campaigns across events, social channels, video and news for a calendar of eight international summits. The second is global marketing strategy and leadership, including how a large creative department stays aligned on one brand while working across regions and offices. The third is AI, data and digital innovation, and the gap she has pointed to between companies that talk about data and the few that know how to collect, clean and use it.
The wider premise of the brief is that for B2B companies in iGaming, an event is no longer a standalone activation but one stage in a longer marketing journey that starts online before the show and continues after it. Lauranne has watched that shift from inside one of the industry’s largest events calendars, and her contributions on Gamblers Connect are intended to give operators, suppliers and affiliates a practical view of how integrated marketing works at that scale.
From the partnerships desk
Partnerships and Operations Lead, Luka Dimitrijevic, on the appointment:
“Lauranne runs marketing for eight summits a year with a creative team of around a hundred people, and she came up through the company rather than arriving at the top of it. What she brings is the operating side of marketing: how you keep that many people on one brand, and how data actually gets used rather than just collected. Through the Contributors Program she will share practical insight on integrated marketing, global marketing leadership and AI and data, with content grounded in real results rather than recycled best practices.”
About the Contributors Program
The Gamblers Connect Contributors Program runs across twelve months, revealing one senior, C level, founder, or stakeholder voice per month. Every contributor publishes under the Gamblers Connect Contributor Editorial Code and is bound by the Contributor Conflict of Interest Policy. Where a contribution references a contributor’s employer or another material affiliation, that relationship is disclosed inline within the article itself, per the Commercial Disclosure Policy.
The programme is built around depth over volume: fewer voices, higher standing, published under a shared editorial standard.
What comes next
The final two contributors of the 2026 programme will be revealed in November and December. Lauranne’s first contribution will appear on her contributor profile and in the Contributors section.
