Brightstar Lottery PLC announced on October 20, 2026, that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation, has signed a two-year contract extension with the New York State Gaming Commission. The commission oversees the functions and activities of the New York Lottery, securing Brightstar’s continued role in providing core lottery technology and operational services throughout the state.
Commenting on the agreement, Scott Gunn, Brightstar Chief Operating Officer for North America Lottery, stated:
“Brightstar is dedicated to continue fulfilling our contractual obligations through this two-year contract extension and supporting the New York Lottery’s successful track record serving New York public schools.”
