Game Developer Achieves Full Independence After Two-Year Internal Build, Launching Weekly Releases and Custom Operator Content
Backseat Gaming has officially launched as a fully independent studio, transitioning to a proprietary remote gaming server (RGS) and technology stack built and controlled entirely by its in-house team. Following two years of dedicated internal development and testing, the milestone allows the studio to take complete command of its product roadmap and deliver player-led content to a global iGaming audience.
The studio already features active game deployments across multiple platforms and operators, bolstered by a recent integration with Hub88. Moving forward, Backseat Gaming plans to maintain a rapid cadence of one new game release per week, alongside the development of bespoke titles created exclusively for select operator partners.

“This is a defining moment for Backseat Gaming, after years of dedicated work by our team to create a studio that’s entirely our own. Having full ownership of our technology and roadmap means we can move faster and stay closer to what players really want. We’re looking forward to building on the momentum we have already gained, as we continue expanding our reach across the global iGaming industry.”
