Official Training Kit Partner of Southampton FC Concludes Fan-Centric Initiative with Community Donation and Players’ Visit to Senior Saints Project
Midinte, serving as the Official Training Kit Partner of Southampton FC for the 2026/27 season, has officially donated £23,000 to the Saints Foundation. The substantial contribution follows the conclusion of the operator’s season-long ‘Brace Yourself’ campaign, which successfully blended fan rewards with meaningful support for the local Southampton community.
Campaign Success and Community Impact
Launched during the 2025/26 season, the ‘Brace Yourself’ initiative rewarded supporters with cash prizes whenever a Southampton player scored twice during a home league match. Over the course of the campaign, the promotion delivered four winning instances, including an £8,000 payout following Taylor Harwood-Bellis’ memorable double last November. Crucially, every winning moment for the fans also translated into direct backing for the Saints Foundation.
To celebrate the £23,000 donation, Southampton Men’s First Team players Jack Stephens, Léo Scienza, and Ryan Manning visited the club’s Staplewood Campus training ground. The players joined participants from the Senior Saints project for a special mobility session. The Senior Saints initiative is dedicated to supporting individuals aged over 60 by combining physical exercise with social opportunities, helping participants stay active, improve their lifestyles, and maintain independence. Statistics show that 80 percent of project participants report increased physical activity or reduced feelings of loneliness.
Ongoing Commitment to Southampton Supporters
As the UK’s fastest-growing sportsbook, Midnite has consistently prioritized fan-focused initiatives. Throughout the previous campaign, the brand funded luxury away travel via the Midnite Express, provided exclusive fan hospitality experiences, and commissioned a commemorative tifo honoring the 50th anniversary of Southampton’s historic FA Cup victory.
David Atkins, a participant in the Senior Saints project, shared his experience:
“I’v been coming for a few years now and I love it. I lived in France for 10 years before I moved here, so it’s a great way for me to meet people and improve my mental health. It was wonderful to have the players join us today. I always enjoy being around younger people because they make me feel younger too.”
Andrew Mook, Head of Brand Marketing at Midnite, added:
“Our partnership with Southampton has always been about more than what happens on the pitch. From day one, we’ve wanted to create initiatives that reward supporters while also giving something back to the local community. Brace Yourself was a brilliant campaign because every time Saints fans won, Saints Foundation benefited too. We’re proud to be able to donate £23,000 to support the incredible work they do across Southampton.”
