Leading B2B software supplier EveryMatrix has officially received conditional licensing approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).

Leading B2B software supplier EveryMatrix has officially received conditional licensing approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).

The regulatory milestone permits the company to supply its complete catalog of online casino software, sportsbook engines, and aggregation platform technologies to licensed operators within the province.

Targeting Canada’s Second Open iGaming Territory

The timely approval positions EveryMatrix for immediate market entry ahead of Alberta’s highly anticipated transition to an open, competitive online gambling market scheduled for July. This shift makes Alberta the second Canadian province to abandon legacy state-monopoly frameworks in favor of an open licensing system for private-sector B2B suppliers and B2C operators, following the successful model pioneered by Ontario.

At the immediate launch of the market, EveryMatrix will distribute certified titles from its in-house development branch, Fantasma Games, alongside an expansive selection of aggregated third-party content. The group has already secured several binding commercial agreements to deploy its software with licensed partners in the territory the moment the market opens.

Strengthening the North American Compliance Footprint

The addition of Alberta significantly expands EveryMatrix’s footprint across North America. The provider already holds active operating licenses in Ontario (secured in 2022) alongside five heavily regulated US states: New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Rani Axon, Market Manager, North America at EveryMatrix, pointed to the certification as a strong validation of their internal legal infrastructure:

“Entering Alberta marks an exciting step for the Group as we expand further into one of North America’s most attractive regulated markets. This approval shows the strength of our compliance team and our readiness to meet regulatory requirements in any market.”
