Meridianbet has officially solidified its status as a pillar of European basketball by extending its title sponsorship with Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) through 2030.

This historic agreement marks one of the most significant private-sector partnerships in the history of Serbian sports, ensuring the club will continue to compete under the name Red Star Meridianbet across the EuroLeague, ABA League, and domestic Serbian competitions.

A Long-Term Commitment to Excellence

The renewal builds upon a successful relationship that began in January 2023. Under the new terms, Meridianbet’s branding will remain a fixture on the team’s jerseys and prominently displayed throughout the Stark Arena in Belgrade. The deal represents a massive financial injection into the club, providing the stability needed to compete at the highest levels of European basketball.

Strategic Alignment

Zoran Milosevic, CEO of Meridianbet, emphasized that the partnership is about more than just visibility. “Extending our title sponsorship through 2030 reflects our commitment to long-term brand building in markets where basketball is a way of life,” Milosevic stated. With the club boasting a global fanbase of over 90 million, the deal aligns perfectly with Meridianbet’s strategy to scale operations across its 18 active jurisdictions.

Community and CSR Focus

Beyond the court, the partnership will continue to drive corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Both organizations have committed to expanding their joint efforts in youth development and responsible gaming education, ensuring the sponsorship delivers value to the wider community.
