A new slot development studio, Big Daddy Gaming, is preparing for its market debut in Q4 2025, backed by gaming investment fund Castech.
The company was founded by a collective of senior iGaming executives with a formidable background at industry leaders, including former figures from Relax Gaming, Kindred, and Evolution.
The founding team boasts significant expertise: Simon Hammon, former CEO of Relax Gaming; Daniel Eskola, who held senior roles at both Relax and Kindred; and Erland Hellstrom, whose commercial experience was shaped during Evolution’s period of rapid global growth.

Big Daddy Gaming will focus its product strategy on combining proven slot mechanics with creative design elements and commercial models built specifically for operators.
The studio plans to counter the perceived saturation of formulaic content in the online slots market through a distinct design approach dubbed “Game DNA.”
This methodology blends established, reliable features with original mechanics and a touch of humour.
The studio’s goal is to become a dependable, long-term supplier by delivering content that is consistently engaging and engineered for reliable performance.
Several commercial agreements are already in progress as the company prepares to release its first titles later this year.
The launch of Big Daddy Gaming follows recent shifts in the supplier landscape, including the expansion of Relax Gaming, where two of the founders previously served in senior leadership roles.
