The official corporate logo for Boyd Gaming, the company that reported total revenue exceeding $1 billion for the second quarter of 2025.

Boyd Gaming has announced a robust financial performance for the second quarter of 2025, with total revenue reaching $1 billion, a notable 6.9% increase year-on-year.

The strong results were primarily fueled by exceptional growth in the company’s online operations and stable performance across its core land-based segments.

Net income for the quarter rose by 7.5% to $150.4 million, while adjusted EBITDAR also saw a healthy 4.1% increase to $329.4 million.

The standout performer was the company’s digital division, which generated $173.1 million in revenue, representing a massive 33.2% surge compared to the prior-year period.

Company management attributed this significant growth to higher digital engagement and successful market expansion in regulated states.

This performance underscores the success of Boyd’s strategy to integrate its online and retail customer experiences. The core gaming operations also delivered positive results, with revenue climbing 3.2% to $671.5 million.

Geographically, the Midwest & South segment continued to be the largest contributor, posting a 3.5% revenue increase to $540.1 million. The Las Vegas Locals market also saw a modest 1.8% rise.

However, the Downtown Las Vegas segment experienced a 4.2% revenue decline, indicating some localized market softness.

Adding to the strong quarterly performance was significant strategic news. On July 10th, Flutter Entertainment agreed to acquire Boyd’s remaining 5% equity stake in FanDuel for approximately $1.8 billion.

This transaction, expected to close in the third quarter, provides Boyd with a substantial capital infusion that it plans to use to reduce debt and strengthen its financial position.

The deal also includes an extension of the strategic partnership between the two companies through 2038. With strong operational momentum and a significant cash injection on the horizon, Boyd Gaming has updated its full-year guidance and remains focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term growth.
