Following their recently established partnership, international lottery operator Allwyn and Formula 1 have jointly introduced the F1 Allwyn Global Community Awards.

This new initiative aims to identify, celebrate, and support social impact projects that are closely linked to the Formula 1 ecosystem, providing a global platform for impactful community work.

Each selected initiative will be honoured with a significant donation of €100,000 (approximately $117,000) from Allwyn, enabling these projects to expand their positive influence.

In addition to the financial award, winners will receive a custom trophy and be prominently featured on the international F1 stage, offering invaluable exposure.

The award is designed to recognize projects that demonstrate a meaningful and lasting commitment to community engagement across four key pillars: education, culture, wellbeing, and sustainability.

The nomination process will be managed by local race promoters, who will identify eligible programs. These can be run by a variety of stakeholders, including F1 teams, official partners, or other organizations involved in delivering Grand Prix events worldwide.

The inaugural award is set to be presented during the Dutch Grand Prix weekend in August. Three subsequent winners will be announced later in the 2025 season at the races held in Austin, Las Vegas, and Mexico City.

The F1® Allwyn Global Community Award will be presented at the following Grand Prix in 2025:

  • Formula 1® Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2025 – 29 – 31 August 2025
  • Formula 1® MSC Cruises USA Grand Prix 2025 – 17- 19 October 2025
  • Formula 1® Gran Premio De La Cuidad De Mexico 2025 – 24 – 26 October 2025
  • Formula 1® Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 – 20 – 22 November 2025

Winners of the awards will also receive the exclusive opportunity to attend a Formula 1 Grand Prix, further integrating them into the sport’s community.

This collaboration between Allwyn and Formula 1 underscores a shared commitment to leveraging the sport’s extensive global reach to foster positive social change and leave a lasting legacy in the communities that host Formula 1 events.
