Scientific Games has confirmed the renewal of its licensing agreement with Banijay, securing continued distribution rights for a selection of game show-inspired lottery titles.

The key part of this agreement is the globally popular Deal or No Deal lottery game, which, thanks to this extension, will remain available to gaming enthusiasts worldwide.

What is particularly impressive is the fact that these two companies share a successful partnership that has lasted for more than 18 years, which has resulted in the launch of 110 lottery games to date.

While specific terms and details of the renewed partnership were not disclosed, considering the length of their ongoing collaboration up to this point, it is very likely that it is a matter of another long-term deal.

Tina Hoover, Vice President of Licensing at Scientific Games, commented on the renewal:

We are thrilled to renew our licence with Banijay. Deal or No Deal is a universally recognized brand and a perfect fit for our popular licensed lottery games. Our creative teams are hard at work designing retail and digital play experiences that capture the excitement of this iconic TV gameshow.

This announcement follows a series of exciting developments for Scientific Games, including last month’s news when the supplier secured an official UAE licence from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).

Additionally, Scientific Games also extended its collaboration with the Florida Lottery for another three years via its Enhanced Partnership Program, marking yet another major deal with a top gaming brand.

Mark Woollard, SVP of Gaming and Gambling at Banijay Rights, also expressed enthusiasm for the renewed partnership:

We look forward to working with Scientific Games to innovate more brand-immersive Deal or No Deal lottery experiences for players around the world.

Consequently, this partnership renewal highlights the commitment of both companies to delivering engaging, branded and high-end content that appeals to lottery enthusiasts across a list of global gaming markets.
