In the true progressive nature of one of iGaming’s leading companies, SBC is launching a new project that transcends the iGaming industry from a mere gambling vertical to a platform that pushes the boundaries of society, the brilliant Women Empowerment Initiative.
The launch of the Women Empowerment Initiative opens a new chapter in iGaming where women are not only included but supported celebrated, and most importantly, given the space to prosper and thrive.
SBC will kick off this groundbreaking initiative at the upcoming SBC Summit in Lisbon with a single goal: to uplift, connect, and empower the women responsible for shaping the future of iGaming, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey that will only proceed to evolve with time.
SBC recognized that the women in our industry need much more than simple encouragement; they actually need real support.
This refers to nurturing professional growth that entails support in getting more women on speaking panels, support in helping women build personal brands, supporting organizations and associations dedicated to uplifting women, and supporting women in having fun by hosting iGaming events.
Most importantly, one of the main goals of the Women Empowerment Initiative is to recognize all those who go the extra mile in supporting other amazing women in the iGaming industry.
This is why one of the first things that SBC did was identify and build collaborations with some of the leading organizations, groups, and associations that are already fighting the good fight for women.
And while each of them has a somewhat different focus, all of them share the same core values: to support and uplift women in this industry.
Thanks to key members of the SBC such as Maria (Masha) Tsnompilantze, Lucía Mouriño, Sue Schneider, and Louise Beyet Moutoh among others, who already had excellent relationships with some of the leading women in these organizations, SBC managed to pull off the initiative of the year, and receive the backing of some fantastic groups:
- All-in Diversity Project
- Association of Women in the Gaming Industry (AMIG)
- Association Femenina de Gaming (ASFEG)
- Global Gaming Women (GGW)
- SheFOs
- Women in Gaming Network
- Women in Gaming – The African Chapter
From breakfast meetups to inspiring panels and the much-anticipated dînatoire, SBC has lined up some incredible events at the upcoming SBC Summit in Lisbon that are meant to bring the women of our industry together in an exclusive setup.
Consequently, this makes the SBC Summit in Lisbon an edition of what will go down in history as the event that broke the barriers of iGaming.
