San Diego’s Jamul Casino Resort to Host Returning Event on Wrongful Conviction Day, October 2, 2026
The Innocence Center (TIC) is officially bringing back the All in for Justice Charity Poker Tournament for its second annual installment. Scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, coinciding with the internationally recognized Wrongful Conviction Day, the event will once again be hosted at San Diego’s Jamul Casino Resort.
Following the inaugural 2025 tournament, which brought together nearly 100 participants and raised approximately $30,000 to support the exoneration of wrongfully convicted individuals, organizers are aiming to double attendance for this year’s gathering.
Building Community and Raising Resources
TIC attorney Claudia Salinas highlighted the broader mission behind the charity event:
“After the success of the inaugural tournament, we were thrilled when Jamul Casino Resort agreed to host us again for the second annual All in for Justice Charity Poker Tournament. This year, we want to build on what we started. The goal isn’t simply to host another poker tournament. It’s to continue creating a platform where the poker community and the broader community can learn about wrongful convictions, hear directly from people impacted by them, connect with the work of The Innocence Center, and help raise the resources necessary to change lives.”
Entry for the 2026 tournament is set at $150, with advance registration open to the public. Organizers are also welcoming sponsors and poker-related brands interested in contributing gear or prizes for final-table winners.
