PrizePicks has been revealed as the official DFS (daily fantasy sports) partner of the MLB team Houston Astros, after signing a multi-year partnership with the US baseball team.

As a result of this partnership, PrizePicks will be featured in both digital and in-stadium activations at Daikin Park, the Astros’ home ballpark, a move that will further boost the operator’s presence in Major League Baseball.

This means that the PrizePicks logo will be featured with both rotational and static signs, with the daily fantasy sports operator also being featured in the Astros’ “More or Less” segment scheduled before every home game on the Astros Radio Network.

Moreover, PrizePicks will also work with the Houston Astros to endorse its City Connect Monday promotion, thus further supporting the team’s Monday home games.

In addition, whenever the Astros where the Nike City Connect uniforms, fans will get a unique chance to win a $10,000 free PrizePicks line-up, plus tickets to an upcoming Astros home game.

Mike Quigley, Chief Marketing Officer at PrizePicks, commented on the partnership and highlighted the exclusive opportunity for fans to win even bigger and more engaging rewards:

This partnership is all about bringing more fun and bigger rewards to PrizePicks players in Houston. We’re rolling out new promotions and experiences that make following the Astros even more exciting for fans, both at the ballpark and at home.

Matt Richardson, Vice President Corporate Partnerships at the Houston Astros, stated that the MLB team is delighted to enter a sponsorship deal with PrizePicks, highlighting the fantasy operator’s continuous investment in Major League Baseball.

We are thrilled to add PrizePicks as an official Astros partner. PrizePicks continues to invest in Major League Baseball and is committed to engaging fantasy sports fans in both a responsible and fun way.

What is particularly interesting is that this is not the first time PrizePicks has entered a partnership with an MLB team, after the fantasy operator extended its collaboration with the Atlanta Braves for three more years, after it first signed a similar deal back in 2020.

In related news, PrizePicks appointed Quigley as CMO back in February of this year, after previously working for several renowned companies such as YouTube, EA Games, and NianticThis.
