Exciting news emerged from the world of iGaming as the giant software developer Pragmatic Play has launched its much-anticipated sportsbook in the UK thanks to the collaboration with another leading brand in the industry, Dazn Bet.
This partnership between Pragmatic Play and Dazn sees the latter using the player account management platform (PAM) of the former called Pragmatic Solutions to expedite integration with the Pragmatic Play Sportsbook.
As a result, players at Dazn Bet UK can now look forward to a list of cutting-edge features such as bet builders, both pre-match and in-play data, as well as player props, while at the same time giving them access to a new horse racing feature that comes standard with the sportsbook.
Echoing the words of Gareth Cook, Senior Vice President of Sports at Pragmatic Play, breaking on to the lucrative UK market was a long-term goal of the company and that this was only possible by offering UK players a “competitive sportsbook”, given the UK’s reputation as one of the biggest betting markets on the planet.

This refers to Spain, the first-ever country to receive the Pragmatic Play Sportsbook after the company rolled out its new product in 2023. Shortly after Spain, Pragmatic Play took its talents to Germany, where it launched its sportsbook at the beginning of 2024.
And it seems like Pragmatic Play doesn’t intend to stop. In July 2024, the company launched its first live casino offerings in the Netherlands, after going live with OneCasino, Only to partner with Betxico in August to launch its live casino, slot, and virtual sports offerings on this platform.
The most recent international deal by this giant was the partnership with Czech Republic-based operator Sazka to provide its extensive and globally renowned slot portfolio to this leading Czech operator.
