Yolo Group has successfully secured gaming-related vendor licenses for two of its subsidiaries from the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) new gaming regulator, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).

This move positions Yolo Group as a key B2B supplier in the highly anticipated and newly emerging legal gaming market in the UAE.

The licenses have been awarded to Hub88 Holdings, a content aggregator, and Online Gaming Services, which covers the brands Live88 and the mobile-first games studio Onetouch.io.

The approvals will allow both entities to supply their respective content and solutions to future operators within the jurisdiction.

In a significant milestone for the region, the licensing of Live88 will establish it as the first regulated online live casino studio to operate in the UAE.

Yolo Group joins a growing and prestigious list of major international gaming companies that have been licensed to operate in the UAE.

The development of the GCGRA and the legal gaming framework was spurred by Wynn Resorts’ announcement of its $2 billion integrated resort project in 2022.

Since then, the market has seen a steady influx of top-tier suppliers, including Aristocrat, Novomatic, IGT, Light & Wonder, and Pollard Banknote.

The acquisition of these licenses is being framed by Yolo Group as a “statement of intent” and a reflection of its commitment to building the future of gaming based on trust, transparency, and innovation.

The company, which is also active in the crypto sector, is proud to be part of the UAE’s journey in establishing a modern and well-regulated gaming framework.

Tim Heath, Founder of Yolo Group:

“Obtaining these licences in the UAE is more than a regulatory achievement, it is a statement of intent. Yolo Group is committed to building the future of gaming on trust, transparency and world-class innovation. The UAE is setting the stage for what modern, regulated gaming should look like, and we are proud to be part of that journey.”
