The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has released its quarterly report for the second quarter of 2025, revealing that it received a total of 10 official match alerts from the regulated betting industry.

These alerts are passed to the agency as part of its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with betting operators to help monitor the integrity of the sport.

The report detailed that the alerts were spread across various levels of professional tennis. This included three alerts from the ATP Challenger tour, two from the WTA tour, and five from the men’s ITF World Tennis Tour.

The ITIA clarified that an alert is not direct evidence of match-fixing, but rather an indication of unusual betting patterns that requires further investigation.

Alongside its integrity monitoring, the ITIA’s anti-doping program was also highly active during the quarter. The agency collected a total of 2,165 samples from players for drug testing across 30 different countries.

In her comments on the report, ITIA CEO Karen Moorhouse emphasized that education and engagement remain top priorities for the organization.

She highlighted the agency’s proactive work with players, coaches, and officials at every level of the game, from Grand Slams down to junior events, to ensure everyone understands the rules and how to avoid inadvertent breaches.

Moorhouse also called for a “collective responsibility” across the entire tennis world to work together to improve the case management process and protect the integrity of the sport.

The ITIA continues to meet with stakeholders to answer questions, listen to feedback, and find effective solutions.
